Config file generators
Type your own values, get the file instantly, then copy it or download it.
Every generator on this site works the same way. You change the values in a short form, the file updates as you type, and you copy it or download it. Under the file you get where to save it, the command that tests it, and the errors people hit most with their fixes. Nothing you type is sent to this site.

Using a generated file safely
- Back up the current file before replacing it.
- Run the test command on the page before you reload or restart anything.
- Replace every example password and secret. Never commit real ones to Git.
- Each page shows when it was last checked. If something is out of date or wrong, tell us.
