If it will not open

The default password does not work
Installers often change it. Press the small reset button on the back for about 10 seconds to restore factory defaults, then try again. A reset erases your settings.
Some settings are locked or missing
Jio routers are managed by the ISP, so some options change through the app, not the router page.
My own router behind the Jio one conflicts
Change the LAN range of your own router so it is not 192.168.29.x.
A search page opens instead of the router
Type http:// before the address, and type it in the address bar, not the search box.
The browser warns “not secure”
Many routers use plain http or a self-signed certificate, so the warning is normal on your own router. Do not click through it on public Wi-Fi.
Wrong username or password
The admin password is not your Wi-Fi password. Check the router label. If you changed it and forgot it, see the reset guide.
The page loads forever
A VPN, a proxy or a second router in between can block it. Turn off the VPN and try a LAN cable. If you put your own router behind the ISP one, the ISP router has a different address from your own.
Port forwarding or UPnP has no effect
Jio often gives shared (CGNAT) IPv4 addresses, so ports on your router usually cannot be reached from the internet. Ask Jio if a public address is available.
The Jio admin page has fewer settings than I expected
Jio often manages its gateways remotely, which is why Wi-Fi changes are easier in the MyJio app.
