If it will not open
- The MAC address password is rejected
- It must be the 12 characters from the label with no colons or dashes. If someone changed the password, a reset is needed. See the reset guide.
- Changing my Hathway account password did not change the Wi-Fi
- They are separate. The Wi-Fi password is changed on the router’s own settings page.
- The page does not open
- Check that you are on this router’s network, not mobile data. Then confirm the address with the router IP finder. Hathway devices use 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 by model.
How to keep your router secure
- Change the default admin password and use a long one that you do not use anywhere else.
