Orange Livebox Login: livebox/ and 192.168.1.1
Open the Orange Livebox settings at http://livebox/ or 192.168.1.1 and find the admin password for your model, from Orange’s own help page.

On a device connected to your Livebox, open http://livebox/ or 192.168.1.1. On the Livebox 7, 6, S, 5 and 4 the username is admin and the password is the first 8 characters of the security key printed under the Livebox or shown on its screen.

How to log in to your Livebox
- Switch the Livebox on and make sure it is not in eco or standby mode. Connect by Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and turn off any company VPN.
- Open a browser and type livebox/ or 192.168.1.1 in the address bar, not the search box.
- Sign in as admin with the first 8 characters of the security key, with no spaces. The key is on the label under the Livebox or on its screen.
- On a Livebox Play you create your own password the first time. On a Livebox 2 there is only a password field, at the top right.

If the Livebox page will not open
- The page does not load
- Check you are connected to this router, not mobile data or another Wi-Fi. If your computer’s gateway shows a different address, use the router IP finder.
- A search page opens instead of the router
- Type http:// before the address, and type it in the address bar, not the search box.
- Wrong username or password
- The admin password is not always your Wi-Fi password. Check the label on the router. If you changed it and forgot it, see the reset guide.
- The page does not open on a Livebox Play
- Type the digit 1 in 192.168.1.1. A lowercase letter l instead of 1 will not work.
- Two routers on the same address

How to keep your router secure
- Change the default admin password and use a long one that you do not use anywhere else.
- Keep the router firmware up to date.
- Turn off remote management unless you really need it.
- Use WPA2 or WPA3 for Wi-Fi.
