Telstra Modem Login: mymodem, 192.168.0.1 and Password
Open the Telstra Smart Modem settings at 192.168.0.1 or mymodem, find the admin password for your generation, and fix the page when it will not open.
Open this address: 192.168.0.1These open only from a device connected to your own router. They cannot be reached from the internet.
On a device connected to your Telstra modem, open http://mymodem or http://192.168.0.1. The username is admin. The password depends on the modem generation: Gen 4 and Gen 3 use the Wi-Fi password printed on the bottom, and Gen 2 and 1.1 use the word Telstra.

If the Telstra page will not open
- The page does not load
- Check you are connected to this router, not mobile data or another Wi-Fi. If your computer’s gateway shows a different address, use the router IP finder.
- A search page opens instead of the router
- Type http:// before the address, and type it in the address bar, not the search box.
- Wrong username or password
- The admin password is not always your Wi-Fi password. Check the label on the router. If you changed it and forgot it, see the reset guide.
- Two routers on the same address
- If your own router sits behind an ISP box that uses the same range, see own router behind an ISP router.
How to keep your router secure
- Change the default admin password and use a long one that you do not use anywhere else.
- Keep the router firmware up to date.
- Turn off remote management unless you really need it.
- Use WPA2 or WPA3 for Wi-Fi.
