- Why is my real download slower than this?
- Wi-Fi quality, server speed, other devices and protocol overhead all take a share. The efficiency setting approximates this.
- Mbps or MB/s?
- Plans are sold in megabits per second. Divide by 8 to get megabytes per second.
- GB or GiB?
- This tool uses decimal units, so 1 GB is 1,000,000,000 bytes, like most ISPs and macOS. Windows shows binary sizes, which look about 7 percent smaller.
