XML Formatter and Validator: Beautify and Minify XML Online

What it does
- Checks that the XML is well formed.
- Indents nested elements and keeps short text on the same line as its tag.
- Keeps comments, CDATA and the XML declaration.
- Minify removes the whitespace between tags.

- What does well formed mean?
- Every tag is closed, tags nest correctly, attribute values are quoted and there is one root element.
- Does it validate against a schema?
- No. It checks the basic rules of XML only, not an XSD or DTD.
- Will it change my text content?
- Spaces around text inside a tag are trimmed. Everything else is kept.
- Why do I see a parser error?
- The browser found a problem such as a missing closing tag. The message names the issue.
