- Which regex flavor is this?
- JavaScript (ECMAScript). Other languages differ in small ways, such as lookbehind and named group syntax.
- What do the flags mean?
- g finds all matches, i ignores case, m makes ^ and $ match at each line, s lets . match a new line.
- Why does the page freeze?
- A pattern with nested repeats can take very long on some text. Simplify it or shorten the test text.
